A small act of kindness,
a big impact on young lives.
Spreading Comfort.
In the tumultuous year of 2020, as the world grappled with the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic, 6-year-old Harper began to understand the hardships faced by many. While fortunate to find solace within the comforting walls of her own home, a profound empathy for those less fortunate emerged. Upon discovering Jeremiah's Place, Pittsburgh's sole haven for women and children facing crisis, Harper was deeply moved by the shelter's vital mission. Inspired to make a tangible difference, she embarked on a compassionate endeavor. With her mother's guidance, Harper curated an Amazon Wishlist overflowing with an array of cozy pajamas in various sizes, aiming to infuse a touch of comfort into the lives of the children residing at the shelter. Each child arriving at Jeremiah's Place is welcomed with a backpack brimming with essential necessities, including a fresh pair of pajamas. Thanks to Harper's generous initiative, an impressive 120 pairs of jammies were lovingly collected, contributing to the warmth and care extended to these children during an undeniably challenging period.
