Bracelets of Hope
Bracelets of Hope was a heartfelt initiative created by Harper, who combined her love for learning and practicing positive self-talk with the art of making friendship bracelets. As she was learning spelling, Harper wrote inspiring words on each bracelet to spread encouragement and positivity. Inspired by a grown-up who faced food insecurity as a child, Harper chose the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank as the recipient of the funds raised. Each bracelet sold for $5, and through this effort, Harper was able to donate $415 to help provide fresh food to those in need.
Words of Strength: Spreading Positivity, One Bracelet at a Time
As part of her Bracelets of Hope project, Harper carefully selected words that she felt embodied strength, kindness, and resilience—qualities she was practicing through her own positive self-talk. Each bracelet featured uplifting affirmations such as "Brave," "Strong," "Beautiful," "Do Good," and "Thoughtful," chosen to inspire both the wearer and others. These powerful messages were a reminder that small acts of encouragement can make a big difference.
